Mildred Drake, of Scranton, died Wednesday night at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. She was the widow of the late Edgar Drake.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Judson and Olive Siptroth Ross, she was a life long resident of Scranton. She was employed by Supreme Laundry Services for many years and she was a member of the Embury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons Richard and Edgar, both of Scranton, Three sisters, Dores Rought, Mill City; Emma Franko, Taylor; and Jean Ross, Mill City; one brother, Robert Ross, Mill City; seven grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. Ted Faux. Interment will be private in Greenwood Cemetery, Glendale.
