Michele M. Costello, Dalton, died Tuesday morning after injuries resulting from an automobile crash. Her husband is Joseph E. Costello.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Alice Joyce Lesso and the late Andrew Lesso, she was previously employed with the University of Scranton and Community Medical Center. She was a member of the Church of St. Benedict, Clarks Summit.
Michele was outgoing and a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother. She was always willing to help anyone and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael Lynady, Newfoundland; and Brian Lynady and wife, Meghan, Scranton; two daughters, Alicen M. Costello and Julie A. Costello, both at home; granddaughter, Lilli Lynady, Newfoundland; two sisters, Joyce DeLappi and husband, Joseph, Scranton; and Anna Rose Borgia and husband, Sam, Dunmore; three brothers, Michael Lesso and his wife, Phyllis, Kingston; Andrew Lesso, Tobyhanna; and Paul Lesso, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Benedict, Newton-Ransom Boulevard, Clarks Summit, to be celebrated by Monsignor James J. McGarry, pastor. All of those attending are asked to go directly to church. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
