Michael Edward Mullins

Michael Edward Mullins, South Abington Township, died Tuesday afternoon at his home.

Born in Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Edward Francis and Genevieve West Mullins. Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver, as well as a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Air Force.

Surviving are three sons: Brian Mullins, Florida, Mike Mullins, New York, and Patrick Mullins, Clarks Summit; a sister, Susan Silverstien and her husband Jay, Long Island; nieces and nephews, Melanie Rizopoulos, Noele Riedl, Kate and Andy Porr, and Matt and Erick DeGall.

He was a beloved father, brother-in-law, and great friend to so many.

The family would like to thank Mike and Nancy Fetcho for the care they showed to Michael.

A blessing service will be held on Saturday at noon at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. Arbogaste Satoun, pastor. Full military honors will follow.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
