Michael Meixner, 53 of Carbondale died Thursday night at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Robert and Olga Chabin Meixner. He was employed as an Auto Body Mechanic for Saars Automotive.
Surviving are a daughter, Brett April Meixner, Thompson; four brothers Thomas Meixner, West Pittston, Robert Meixner, Scranton, James Castellano, Dickson City and Ronald Castellano; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was a loving father who will be sadly missed by his daughter. They enjoyed many trips to Knoebles as she was the apple of his eye. The entire family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Community Care for their compassion and care.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 7pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Friends may call on Monday from 6pm until the time of the service.
