Her varied interests created many special relationships with friends. She was noted for her excellent skill as a baker, and her famous cookies and pies around the holidays were coveted by the entire family.

As a mother of two sons, sports became an integral part of her life. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Duke University basketball. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
