Marybeth Adams, 46, of Taylor died Tuesday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital.
Born March 9, 1962, in Scranton, daughter of William and Patricia Brzostek Clarke, Clarks Summit, she formerly resided in Dalton and Peckville. A 1980 salutatorian graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and a 1984 cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton, she was formerly employed as a physical therapist for Sprint and Balance Care. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church. Through the Gift of Life, her request was to be an organ donor.
Also surviving are a daughter, Amanda Adams, Peckville; a brother, Robert Clarke and wife, Christy, Factoryville; a sister, Michelle Bielovitz and husband, Kirk, King George, Va.; two nieces, Ashleigh and Julia; three nephews, Justin, Devon, and Brayden; and her companion, Pete Michauskas, Taylor.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Patrick Clarke.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 325 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private of the convenience of the family in Cathedral Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State. St., Clarks Summit.
