Maryann Zabrowski Holgate, 43, Nicholson, died Friday morning at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was the wife of Patrick Holgate for 22 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Patricia Wagner Zabrowski and the late Edward Zabrowski. She was a 1987 graduate of Lakeland High School and a member of the Providence of God Lithuanian National Church in Scranton. She was employed as a supervisor with Grumman Electronics, as well as a part-time bartender at the Almont.
She enjoyed gardening and horses.
Also surviving are sisters, Geneine Z. Aualore, Clifford; Kimberly Zabrowski, Dickson City; and Linda Zabrowski, Childs; and her beloved dog, Cody.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Providence of God Lithuanian National Catholic Church with services by the Rev. Walther Placek, Ph.D., pastor. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in the Lithuanian National Catholic Cemetery, South Abington Twp.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, and Tuesday morning from 10 until Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, S. Abington Twp., PA 18411.
