Mary Catherine Yvonne Hetzel, Dalton, died Saturday at the Community Medical Center. She was the widow of Charles Francis Hetzel who died in 1978.
Born in Glenburn daughter of the late Robert Charles and Josephine King Finkler. She loved to crochet and knit while also enjoying hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Hetzel, Dalton; brothers, Richard Jerome Finkler, Texas, Ronald Finkler, Dunmore, James T. Finkler, Falls; sisters, Joan Ritter, Lake Ariel, Elizabeth, Clarks Summit, Catherine M. Wilbur, Factoryville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Jr., Donald, and Raymond Finkler; two sisters Patricia Dingee and Anne Marie Dingee.
A blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 12noon from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Glendale.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may go to The Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., Clarks Summit PA 18411.
