Mary Kay Driesbaugh, 54, of Clarks Summit, died Friday evening at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore after a brief illness.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Martha Michalik Driesbaugh. She was a 1977 graduate of Abington Heights High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows and St. Benedict's Parish, Clarks Summit.
Mary Kay loved her family and friends. She had a very special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, who fondly referred to her as Coucie.
She is survived by her companion and best friend, Charles Crumady, Scranton; one sister, Ann Scoda and husband, Raymond, Clarks Green; four brothers, Ronald and wife, Judy, Clarks Summit; Lester, Factoryville; Richard and wife, Patricia, Scranton; and Andrew and wife, Linda, Clarks Summit.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Driesbaugh.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Church of St. Benedict's, Newton-Ransom Boulevard, Newton Twp. All those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Abington Hills Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
