Mary E. Ayers

Mary E. Ayers, 87, of Ransom, died Friday at home. She was the widow of the late Roy Ayers, who was her husband of 66 years before his death on May 1, 2018.   She was the daughter of the late Victor and Verna Canterbury Smith.

Also surviving are two sons, Randy and Aldon, two daughters, Vicky and Nanette, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA  18702.
