Martha Morgan "Peg" Rhodes of Waverly died Thursday in Community Medical Center. She was the widow of Kenneth Anthony Rhodes, who died in 1970.
Born Oct. 21, 1910, in Chinchilla, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Randall Morgan and Abraham Lincoln Morgan.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Anthony L. B. Rhodes and wife, Diane Dietzen, Horsham, Pa.; Victoria Gutfreund and husband, Owen, Chappaqua, N.Y.; and William Rhodes and wife, Melissa, Haverford, Pa.; six great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Willa Gutfreund, Katherine and John Rhodes, and Abigail and Elizabeth Rhodes; a nephew, John Morrison; a niece, Bonnie Rhodes; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Rhodes, with whom she resided.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth A. Rhodes Jr.; a sister, Edith Morrison; and two brothers, Francis and Henry Morgan.
Friends may call on Wednesday, 3 to 5 p.m., in the CRB Room of Waverly Community House.
