Marion L. Reid

Marion L. Reid, Factoryville died Monday afternoon at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. Her husband was the late Forest C. Reid who died in 1997.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Warren K. and Lizzie DePew Anderson. Prior to retirement, she worked alongside her husband on their farm.

She was a member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church. Marion was a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are a son, Forest W. Reid, Tunkhannock; two daughters, Elaine Reid, Harvey's Lake and Roxann Veety and her husband, Foster, Falls; grandchildren, Myron and his wife Caitlin Suchodolski , Stacie Suchodolski, Allen and his wife Maureen Reid, Brad Reid, Leanna, Samantha and Craig Veety; two great grandchildren, Declan Reid and Matthew Suchodolski.

She was preceded in death by a brother Archie Anderson, a sister Pauline Leader, and a daughter in law, Shirley Reid.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am from the Lawrence E. Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
