Marion Harin Otto, Nicholson, died Tuesday morning at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Her husband is Herbert Raymond Otto. The couple was married for 56 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Helen Kavulich. Marion loved spending time with her family and her pride and joy was her granddaughters. She liked to crochet and watch birds.

Also surviving are a son, AndyMichael Otto, Nicholson; granddaughters, Kristy Nicole Otto and her friend, Johnny Corley; Taylor Lynn Cooley and her husband Kevin Cooley; Mikayla Rose Otto and her friend Ronnie Traver; and Aleah Marie Otto and her friend César Gonzalez; great granddaughter, Lenora Nichole Corley; great grandson, Kameron Patrick Cooley; sisters, Helen Cook and her husband George, and Cynthia Harin and her husband Harry Wright; a brother John Harin; godson, Chris Otto; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death a son, Joseph Otto, and sister, Mary Jane Dalegrand.

Service will be private at the request of the family.
