Marion Elizabeth Morgan, 104, formerly of Dundalk , MD died Friday afternoon at the Wesley Village in Pittston. She was the widower of George W. Morgan who died in 1979.
Born in Wilkes Barre she was the daughter of the late James and Jennie Bryant. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and in her earlier years, a member of Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Dundalk, MD.
Surviving is a son Charles Morgan and his wife Janis, Clarks Summit; a sister Elizabeth Wade, Virginia; four grandchildren George Thomas Jr., Texas, David Thomas MD, David Morgan, Clarks Summit and Michelle Reese, Clarks Summit; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores Thomas, a sister, Ethel McKowen and a grandson, Robert Thomas.
A blessing service will be held on Thursday evening at 7pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow at a later date in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Baltimore MD.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
