Marion Davies Koontz, Clarks Summit, formerly of Taylor, died Sunday morning at Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA. She was the widow of Ivan Koontz, who died in 1989.
Born in Taylor, daughter of the late Carlyle and Mary Davies, she was a graduate of Taylor High School and a member of Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Before retirement, she was employed with Pepco in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by cousins, Eleanor, Mary Kay and Jack Powell.
The family would like to thank the Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA for their compassionate care shown to Marion.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by the Rev. Amy Raser, pastor of Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Milwaukee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, 1310 Morgan Highway, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
