Marie G. Dziak of Clarks Summit died Tuesday morning at Brighten at Julia Ribaudo Center, Lake Ariel. She was the widow of Joseph Dziak.
Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Matylewicz Hantz. She was employed by the Wilson Co., Scranton. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, and a former member of the Scranton Canoe Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathryn Bower and husband, David, Moscow; a grandson, David Bower and wife, Amber, Clarks Summit; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Pliska, Rockville, Mo.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Steinhilper; a granddaughter, Stephanie Bower; and a sister, Eleanor Redicka.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Those attending Mass are asked to go directly to church. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit
