Marian Pysh

Marian Pysh, 106, Clarks Summit died Monday morning at Clarks Summit Senior Living.  She was the widow of Harry Pysh who died in 1987.

Born in Dickson City she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Mott.  She was a member of St. Claire's Catholic Church in Scranton.

Marian was a woman of strong faith that served her community all her life.

She is survived by her son Paul Pish and his wife Nancy, IL; grandsons James and Jerry Pish, granddaughter Kimberly Pish, all of IL, and a great grandson, Evan Pish.

She was preceded in death by four brothers Walter, Earl, Luke and Louis Mott and a sister Ruth Pollack.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday 4/21 at 9:30am at St. Paul's Church, 1510 Penn Ave., Scranton.  Interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow.  Friends may call on Thursday 4/20 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State S., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
