Margie M. Jenkins, 82, of Chinchilla died Tuesday peacefully at the Lackawanna rehabilitation Center in Olyphant. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Jenkins, who died in 2006.

Born September 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Kacer Haberstroh. She was a graduate of Clarks Summit High School and prior to her retirement she was employed by the Clarks Summit State Hospital for over thirty years ending her career there as an occupational therapist. She was a faithful and active member of Our Lady Of The Snows Church.

Her passion in life included baking, cooking, and vacationing with her family and friends. She was well known for her beautiful arts and crafts projects. She was a welcoming and loving woman to all who walked through her door. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation center and the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate and loving care.

Surviving are five sons John "Tuna" Jenkins, Dickson City; Edward Jenkins and wife Andrea, Chinchilla; Thomas Jenkins, Colorado; Jeffrey Jenkins and wife Catherine, Archbald; and Todd Jenkins, Dickson City; three sisters Paula Mancia, Jessup; Kay Smith, Clarks Summit; and Nancy Singh, Indiana; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Carl and Larry Haberstroh.

A memorial mass will be held Friday at 9:30am from Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Friday from 9am until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Snows Church.
