Margaret "Peggy" Yablonski, 87, of Clarks Summit, died Friday morning at the Allied Skilled Nursing unit in Scranton.

Born in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late John and Madeline Theobald Glynn.

She was a graduate of Clarks Summit High School. She was employed as the Director of Volunteers at the Community Medical Center for many years as well as hostess for many local distinguished restaurants.
Peggy was one of the original founders of the Ronald McDonald House. She was a member of Our Lady of Snows Church and served as one of its Eucharist Ministers.

Peggy enjoyed bowling and loved to travel, especially to Long Beach Island New Jersey. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Allied Skilled Nursing 4 south for their loving care that they gave Peggy during her time of illness.

Surviving is a son Ed and his wife Mary, Florida; four brothers, John Glynn and his wife Charlotte, Factoryville; Joe Glynn and his wife Carol, McCall, Idaho; Tom Glynn and his wife Janet, Scotia, NY; and Father Ed Glynn S.J., Baltimore MD, two sisters Mary Aulisio, Kingston; and Ann McHale, Cody WY.; a granddaughter Brook Yablonski, Moosic; many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister Helen Graham and a brother James Glynn.

A memorial service will be held Monday,January 20TH at 10am from Our Lady of Snows church, 301 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa., Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call from 9am until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 332 Wheeler Ave, Scranton 18510, or to a charity of choice.
