Margaret A. Sweet, 68, of Clarks Summit, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Lester W. and Dorothy M. Cohen Hunt. She was a 1965 graduate from Abington Heights High School. Margaret worked for various companies in sale and customer service. Peg struggled with controlling her diabetes the past several years, which in turn contributed to her chronic health problems. This prevented her from doing many of the things she wanted to do, but was simply unable.
Margaret was very artistic and had a great love for her dog, Lily.
Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne Sweet, Clarks Summit; and Catherine E. Sweet, Clarks Summit; two brothers, Thomas Hunt and his spouse, Eder, Clarks Summit; and James Hunt and his wife, Bonnie, East Benton; two grandchildren, Stephanie Wulff and Stephen Gacek; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m., before the memorial service.
