Marcia M. Ostir

Marcia Ostir, 81, of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly at home on October 13, 2026. She was adored by her husband, Al, of 62 years and was the light of her sons' and grandchildren's lives.

Born on January 31, 1945, to John and Annette Cobay, Marcia and Al raised their three sons in Tunkhannock.

She loved nothing more than traveling with Al, from beach vacations along the shores of Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware to Aruba, her favorite place in the world. Above all, she loved Al, and her grandchildren held her heart, just as she held theirs.

She is survived by her husband, Al; her three sons, Jerry (Lori), Mark (Jackie), and Todd (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Emilee), Stephanie (Rob), Jarod, Madison, Christopher, Marisa, Anthony, and Taryn. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annette; her brother, Jack; and her sister, Silvia.

Funeral arrangements will be held privately at the convenience of the family, with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
