Madeline Ivanik O'Donnell, Waverly, died Monday at home. She was the widow of William P. O'Donnell II, who died in 2002.

Born in Old Forge, daughter of the late George and Julia Hrobuchak Ivanik, she was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church. Both Madeline and Bill, a.k.a. Midge and O'D, always could be found among their many friends golfing or socializing. Now they are reunited with our heavenly father resting in eternal peace. Midge and O'D were longtime members of Glen Oaks Country Club and their legacy will forever be remembered.

Surviving are a son, William, Waverly; three daughters, Doreen Gera and husband, John, Ocala, Fla.; Kelly Murphy and husband, Mike, Bluffton, S.C.; and Leslie Engelking and husband, David, Scotts Valley, Calif.; a sister, Elaine Koveleski, Clarks Summit; and seven grandchildren, Gabrielle, Alexa, William, Brooke, Blake, Bridget and Kaylyn.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Giombolini, in 2000; and a brother, Eli Ivanik, in 1973.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, South State Street, Clarks Summit. Interment, Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.

Friends and family may call Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
