Mabel Miller, 83, of Clarks Summit formerly of Dalton, died Friday morning at Mountain View Care Center in Scranton.
Born in Dalton, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Beatrice Miller.
She was a 1950 graduate of Dalton High School. She was a girl scout Leader for ten years and prior to her retirement she was employed by Lourdesmont for many years. She was a member of the Dalton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two nephews Gerald Barns and wife Judy; and Lee Barns and his wife Linda, and six grand nieces and nephews.
She loved her family and friends very much, especially Cayton, Jackson, Joshua, and their mother Odalie Cramer Curtis, their aunt Jocelyn Cramer Rollison and uncle Nick Cramer.
She was preceded in death by three brothers Lewis, Erwin, Elvin Miller, two sisters Lois Barns and Selma Miller, and a sister in law Norma Miller.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411, with services by Rev. Lori Robinson, pastor, Dalton United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in Miller Cemetery Scott Twp.
Friends may call Monday from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
