Lucinda Ann Quinn, 83, of Scott Twp., Pa, died peacefully the evening of January 29, 2015 at the Abington Manor Nursing Facility, S. Abington Twp. Her husband is Joseph Patrick Quinn. The couple had been married for more than 65 years.
Born in Kendallville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Harrison H. and Geraldine Egolf Shreve. She was a woman of Catholic faith and a member of the Waverly Community House. She devoted her life to caring for her family. Lucinda was a den mother for the Cub Scouts, enjoyed playing pinochle, a wonderful cook that took great pride in her culinary skills, and her greatest joy in life spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sons, Steven P. Quinn and his wife, Kim, Clarkston, Mich.; Douglas M. Quinn and his companion, Celeste, Otisville, Mich.; and Mark H. Quinn and his wife, Elizabeth, Moscow, Pa.; a daughter, Deborah J. Kropchak and her husband, Steve, Dryden, Mich.; a brother, Larry W. Shreve and his wife, Jan, Luray, Va.; a sister, Sharon Gadley, Riverside, Calif.; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Frazier.
The family would like to thank her doctors and caregivers for their loving care, respect and compassion.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Gregory, 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green. All those attending Mass are asked to go directly to church. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park.
