Listen to Obituary
Lucille F. Campbell, 90, of Muncy died Thursday March 29, at Abington Manor in Clarks Summit. She was the wife of the late Sylvan Reed who died in 1985, and her second husband, the late Charles Campbell who died in 1999.
Born in Moreland Township on July 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Blanche Temple Brown. She attended Chestnut Grove School near Pine Summit and worked at Weldon's Pajama Factory in Muncy as a seamstress for many years. Lucille eventually retired from GTE Sylvania in Montoursville.
Lucille's daughter and husband, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very important to her. She took great pride in her home and would stay busy keeping it looking nice on the inside and out. Anyone who visited was offered coffee, treats, snacks, and anything she had. If you were there for a meal, she made sure you didn't leave hungry, Lucille enjoyed spending time with and helping family and friends. She liked shopping and eating out. She could strike-up a conversation with anyone and often did.
Surviving are a daughter Ruth Ann Eck and husband Michael, Clarks Summit; two brothers Dean Brown and wife Barbara, Bloomsburg, and Floyd Brown and wife Miriam, Hughesville; two grandchildren Todd Simpson and fiancee Shanna Herr, Muncy, and Chad Simpson and wife Jennifer, Muncy; and five great-grandchildren, Kristy Teisher and husband Rob, Watsontown, Kathryn Simpson, Muncy, Jered Simpson, Muncy, Caz Simpson and wife Paige, Williamsport, and Adrianna Simpson, Muncy.

Lucille was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Temple, and her sister, Della Lyons.
A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Clarks Summit.
