Loyal "Bill" Bunnell Jr., died Tuesday evening at Regional Hospital in Scranton.
Born in Clarks Summit, he was the son of the late Loyal Willard Sr. and Marjorie Nichols Bunnell. He was a graduate of Clarks Summit High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He devoted his entire life working at the family business, Bunnell's Hardware in Clarks Summit.
Bill enjoyed gardening and spending time at his cottage on Deer Lake. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are two brothers George Bunnell, Sr., Clarks Summit; and John Bunnell, Johnstown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Judson and James Bunnell.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa 18411, with services by Rev. William Carter, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Clarks Green Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.
