Louis Tucci, of Clarks Summit, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, at Regional Medical Center, Scranton. Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Kaminski Tucci. He was the devoted husband of Jean Sinkovich Tucci for over 53 years.
In addition to being a wonderful husband, Lou will be remembered as an amazing father and grandfather. His first love was spending time with his family and he found enjoyment watching his grandchildren pursue sports and other interests. He was a food enthusiast who loved to travel and enjoy simple pleasures like swimming, golfing, visiting the beach, and sitting in the sun.
Surviving are his three daughters: Karen Rooney and husband T.J., Westfield, NJ; Susette Hanley and husband Jim, Wesley Chapel, FL; and Nici Farinelli and husband Tony, Forest City, PA; six grandchildren: Kristi Farinelli, Evan, Griffin, and Sara Rooney, and Jimmy and Lauren Hanley; and two sisters: Irene Malinowski and Palma Ruginis;
Lou was preceded in death by his brother, Kamin Tucci.
A Blessing Service, conducted by Msgr. Joseph Quinn, pastor, Our Lady of the Snows Church, will be held on Wednesday at 11 am
from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service.
