Louis T. "Lou" Costello, 86, of Justus and Lakeland, Fla., died Wednesday morning at the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton. His wife is the former Barbara Siniawa. The couple married in 1991.
Born in West Pittston, he was the son of the late Carmen and Julia Costello. Before retirement, he was a business administrator for Marvell Kitchen and then owner of Anthracite Auto Parts. He attended the West Pittston Assembly of God Church.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II who loved his country and its flag. He was a 1940 graduate of West Pittston High School.
He loved his Lord and has gone to his heavenly home. Lou enjoyed playing golf and the companionship of his dog, Peppy.
Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Alice Costello; and a nephew, Lenny Costello, both of West Pittston.
He was also preceded in death by Angelia Costello and Lenny Costello.
There will be no services.
