Loraine Knight

Loraine Knight of Binghamton, formerly of Newton Twp, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday at home. Her first husband was the late William Blachek who died in 1955 and her second husband was the late Charles Knight who died in
2004.

Born in Chinchilla , daughter of the late Anson and Loraine
Antoine Miller, she was a member of the Vestal Center United Methodist
Church and its Christian Womans Club. She resided in Binghamton for
the past 52 years.

Surviving are three sons, Thomas Blachek and wife Margaret;
Binghamton NY, Michael Blachek and wife Theresa; Rochester Minn., and
James Knight and wife Laurie; Lewisburg Pa., a step son Charles
Knight; Binghamton NY, three sisters Elsie Sopinski and husband
Edward; Clarks Summit, Vida Trivelpiece and husband Wayne; Clarks
Summit, and Edith Jakubus; Newton Twp., brother Loren Miller and wife
Eleanor; Newton Twp. And four grandchildren Matthew Blachek and wife
Laura, Amanda Ahmed and husband Taimour, and Emily and Glen Knight.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Floyd and Carl Miller and a
sister Florence Miller.

Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11am from the Lawrence E. Young
Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit PA, with services by Rev.
Roger L. Fredrick, pastor of the Vestal Center United Methodist
Church. Interment Miller Cemetery, Scott Twp.

Friends may call on Monday 10am until time of service at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11am at the Vestal Center
United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd. Vestal N.Y. 13850.
