Lora May Rohan

Lora May Rohan, 64, of Scott Twp., died Friday morning at home. She was the wife of the late Thomas Rohan who passed away in 2012. The couple had been married 41 years.

Born in Susquehanna County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Francis Grorener Valentine. She was a graduate of Scott High School and went on to work for R and A Manufacturing as a factory worker. She retired in 2005 and became a homemaker. She was an avid baker and cook. During her retirement she found a special passion for ceramics. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Also surviving are a son, Thomas Rohan and wife Valerie, Scott Twp.; a daughter, Heather Sayer, Scranton; five grandchildren, Scott Daniel Sayer, Ricky Austin Sayer, Lora Lynn Sayer, Thomas Justin Rohan and Logan Ryan Nellis.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Justin, who died in 2003, and a brother Clinton Valentine.

There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, under the care of Eric T. Parry, F.D.
