Lois M. Sives, Falls, died Monday morning at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore. Her husband is Arthur J. Sives, the couple would have celebrated their 53 wedding anniversary this July.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Theodore and Jennie Gromlich Compton. She was a resident of Falls for over fifty years and prior to retirement she was a Switchboard Operator for Commonwealth Telephone Company. She was a graduate of Clarks Summit High School.
Also surviving are a son, Kevin Sives, Apalachin, NY; a daughter, Sheila Sives, Blue Bell, PA; a brother, Harold Compton, S. Abington Twp.; a sister, Jean Jones, Troy, PA; two grandsons, Bradford and Nathaniel Sives, a niece and a nephew.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 1pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8pm.
