Lois H. Miller, of Dalton, died Wednesday morning at Moses Taylor Hospital.She was the widow of Robert Miller who died in 2006.The couple was married for over 60 years.

Born in Olyphant, she was the daughter of Elwood Charles Demming and HelenDeats Demming.She lived in Dalton for over 62 years and was a faithful member of the Waverly Community Church where she was the director of the Sunday School, Preschool, and Children's Ministries.She taught at the CYC and prior to retirement she worked many years as the bookkeeper for Miller Excavating and Fairlawn Cemetery Association in Dalton.

Surviving two sons, Robert and his wife Sue of Lansdale, and Roger and his wife Ginger of Dalton; three grandchildren, Brian, Bobby and Amy Lee Miller; three great grandchildren, Kristen Pearl Miller, Hailey Quinn Stegbauer and Sophia Rae Stegbauer; one brother, Arlin Demming, Montdale; two sisters, Sharon Webb and Linda Magnot, both of Montdale; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald who died in 1997; a brother, Elwood Demming and a sister Shirley Herbert.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 am at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit with services byRev. James Cohen , pastor, Waverly Community Church.Interment will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton.

Friends may call on Monday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
