Lois J. Clayton Kasparek, 88, of Factoryville, formerly of North Huntingdon, Pa., died Tuesday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kasparek.
Born Jan. 14, 1920, in Jeannette, Pa., daughter of the late James and Lydia Stewart Clayton, she was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Irwin, Pa., where she was the former secretary and a youth leader. She was a former employee of Elliott Co., Jeanette, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are three children, Kathie and husband, the Rev. James Lowans, Factoryville; Judith and husband, the Rev. Howard Hodson, Ruffsdale, Pa.; and Sharon and husband, the Rev. Paul Poole, Beaver Falls, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Rachel Kreuzberger, Alicia Krestel, Todd Lowans, Drew and Carissa Hodson and Nick and Natasha Poole; five great- grandchildren, Joshua, Savannah, Jeremiah, Nathan, an Malachi; a sister, C. Vivian Clayton, Factoryville; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danita Hodson.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. James Lowans, the Rev. Howard Hodson and the Rev. Paul Poole, her sons-in-law, officiating. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment, Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Twp.
Friends will be received today, 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Irwin; and Friday, 10 to 11, at the church.
