Lois Jones

Lois Jones, 89, Chinchilla, PA, passed away peacefully on  Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Abington Manor, South Abington Township.

Lois, born in Greensburg, PA, was the daughter of the late Matilda & Ray Horn and wife of the late David Jones.  She was preceded in passing by a twin brother at birth and a younger brother, Donald.

Lois is survived by two daughters: Lynn (Mike Carroll), Monroe, NY and Kyle (James Sherman), Clarks Summit, PA; six grandchildren: Jessica, Kaylin, James (Lauren), Michael, Matthan, Kaleb; one great granddaughter, Millie, and a second great grandchild due in August 2022; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn O'Donnell and Carol Horn; as well as six nieces and one nephew.

Lois was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to music, had quite the sense of humor (unless you got near her Coke Zero), was a great listener, chock full of knowledge, and was stubborn & feisty - just the way we love her.

Funeral services will be private.

At Lois' request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Chinchilla or the Children's Home of Wyoming Conference, 1182 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY 13901.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
