Lloyd Hayden Holgate, 70, of Scott Township, died Friday morning at his home.
Born in Chinchilla, he was the son of the late Hayden and Madilyn Travis Holgate. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and a United States Coast Guard Veteran. Prior to his retirement he was employed as an Operating Engineer for the IUOE Local 542.
Surviving is a brother James Nichols, Clarks Summit; a Sister Lois Zimmaro, Bucks County; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog "Bunny".
Lloyd was a kind and loving man who enjoyed helping people. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Saturday at 1pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment with military honors will follow in Miller Cemetery, Scott Twp.
Memorials may be made to the Abington Kennels 320 Northern Blvd. S. Abington Pa. 18411.
