Lisa E. Greene of Clarks Summit died Sunday morning at the VNA Hospice Unit in the Community Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Scranton on Dec. 27, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Leland Jr. and Myra Jarvis Greene.
She is survived by a nephew, Leland Greene IV; a sister-in-law, Maureen Greene; an uncle, Howard Greene, Lakeland, Fla.; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa was also preceded in death by a brother, Leland E. Greene III.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Jaditz, the nurses and aides at the VNA Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center, her friend, Gina, and the Step by Step Group Home in which she resided for the excellent care and compassion given to Lisa.
Services will be private at Abington Hills Cemetery. Arrangements, Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Online condolences may be sent to www.lawrenceeyoung funeralhome.com. Memorials may be made to the VNA Hospice, 301 Delaware Ave., Olyphant, PA 18447.
