Services have been set for Linda Lea Evans, 76, of Falls, who passed peacefully on Oct. 24, 2017, in her home. She was the beloved wife of David W. Evans.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. from the Lake Winola United Methodist Church, Maple Drive, Lake Winola, PA 18625. Arrangements are under the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to VNA Hospice and Home Health,

Linda Lea Evans, 76, of Falls, passed peacefully on October 24, 2017, in her home. She was the beloved wife of David W. Evans for 57 years.
Born April 26, 1941, in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Amy Elvidge Culkin.
Also surviving are sons Mark T. Evans of Forestdale, Massachusetts and David G. Evans of Clarks Summit; daughter Tanya Greenfeld of Alexandria, Virginia; daughters-in-law Sharon and Joanne Evans; son-in-law Charles Greenfeld; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Culkin Jr.
Linda was a graduate of Abington Heights High School, and she spent the bulk of her career managing health stores GNC and Puritan's Pride. She was also a member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church, where she made "sunshine baskets" for church members in need of cheer. Linda loved to travel and enjoyed yearly winter trips to Hilton Head Island where she enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends. Her most recent trips include a tour of Scotland, a Bermuda cruise, and a trip with her family to Bar Harbor, Maine.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 1 to 3 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
