Linda Cooper of Scranton died Sunday morning at the VNA Hospice in Community Medical Center. She was the widow of Ralph Robert Cooper and Peter Rusnak Jr.
Born in Clarks Summit, daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Deming White, she was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are three sons, Donald L. Cooper and wife, Laura; Ralph R. Cooper and wife, Sara; and Robert E. Macnelley and fiancée, Hollie; two daughters, Kelly L. Cooper and fiancé, David; and Stacey A. Cooper Smith; two brothers, Ralph White Jr. and Edward White; a sister, Janice Molitoris; several grandchildren; and her companion, Matthew Smith.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wendy White.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by the Rev. Judy Wanck, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at a later date in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
Friends may call Thursday, 4 until the time of the service.
