Leslie Ferko, Jr.

Leslie Ferko Jr., Scott Twp. died peacefully Saturday afternoon at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center surrounded by his family. His widow is the former Donna Agentowicz. The couple married in 1993.

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Leslie and Marlene Grudeski Ferko Sr..  He was an Abington Heights graduate in 1982 and a very proud truck driver for J.P. Mascaro and Sons for many years. He took great pride in his work and cherished all of those he worked with.

Also surviving are the pride and joys of his life. His daughters, Taylor and Taralyn Ferko; his son, Eric Ferko; his beloved grandson, Kingston Ferko; a sister, Sandra Agentowicz and her husband Edward, all of Scott Twp.; and his nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St. Clarks Summit by Rev. Stephen A. Asomah, Assistant Pastor.  Interment will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Taylor.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
