Leslie Martin Ferko, Sr., Clarks Summit, died Tuesday evening surrounded by his family at his daughter's home in Scott Township. His first wife, Marlene Grudeski Ferko, died in 1994 and he was currently married to Doris Peck Ferko.
Born in Chapman Lake, he was the son of the late Francis and Margaret Soden Ferko. Prior to retirement, he worked for Procter & Gamble, then later worked for Bolus Trucking and White's Country Floral. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Agentowicz and her husband Edward, Scott Township; a son, Leslie Ferko, Jr. and his wife Donna, Scott Township; five grandchildren: Zakkary and Kayla Agentowicz, Taylor, Eric, and Taralyn Ferko; one great grandchild, Kingston Ferko.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Charles and sister Margie Longstreet.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Snows Church by Rev. Stephen Asomah, assistant pastor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Allied Services Hospice Center, 511 Morgan Highway, Scranton, PA 18501.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
