Leonard M. Kowalski

Leonard M. Kowalski, 73, of West Abington Twp, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 18, 2021.  He is survived by his wife, Marie Kowalski.  They would have celebrated their 50 ^th wedding anniversary on February 13 ^th .

Len was born in Taylor, PA on August 17, 1947.  He was the son of the late Leonard B and Romaine Kowalski.

Before his retirement, he was a court security officer for the U.S. Marshal Service, Federal Building, Scranton.  He also worked as a police officer for the Dalton Borough.

Len served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force.  He was stationed in the Mekong Delta, Can Tho Binh Thuy during the 1968 Tet Offensive.  He is a lifelong member of VFW Post 7069 – Clarks Summit.

Len is survived by his son, Leonard C. and wife Veronica; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlen; and a brother Alan.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
