Leland E. Greene III, 57, of South Abington Twp. died Thursday afternoon at home. His widow is the former Maureen Crawford Greene. The couple was married for 20 years on Oct. 9.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Leland E. Jr. And Myra Jarvis Greene, he was a longtime resident of South Abington Twp. and a graduate of Abington Heights High School, class of 1969; and the University of Scranton. He was a member of Waverly Lodge 301, Free and Accepted Masons, and was employed as a truck driver for Penn Paper Supply Co. He enjoyed flying his plane out of the Cherry Ridge Airport in Lake Ariel.
Also surviving are a son, Leland E. Greene IV, at home; and a sister, Lisa E. Greene, Chinchilla.
Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
