Kristyn Elizabeth Rose Kromko, 16, of Clarks Summit passed away Tuesday at the Community Medical Center.
Born July 25, 1993, she was the daughter of Joseph and Roberta (Bobbie) Klinkel Kromko. She was a sophomore at the Abington Heights High School and was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church. Kristyn was a cheerleader at Abington Heights High School and attended the All Star Academy for cheerleaders for several years. She was active in the Symphony Orchestra, and enjoyed horse back riding. She had just begun her first job at Taco Bell. In her earlier years she danced at the Waverly Community House with the Divine School of Dance taking Tap, Jazz, and Ballet.
When Kristyn entered, the room would light up with her smile and mere presence. Her inner glow and love for life radiated to those around her. Kristyn was an amazing, vibrant, and beautiful young women that will be so unbelievably missed. Even in death she gave the ultimate gift of life to others as she was an organ donor.
Also surviving is a brother Brandon Joseph Kromko, at home: paternal grandparents Joseph Kromko and Kay Armfield, Peckville: aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Rose Klinkel and paternal grandmother, Betty Francis and an uncle, Robert Kromko.
The funeral will be Friday with Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 310 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery, S. Abington Twp.
