ervices have been set for Kenneth Paul Clendenning who passed away on May 23, 2018 at the age of 76.
A memorial service will be held on June 9 at 10 a.m. from the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Scranton. The Rev. Scott Loomer officiating.
Kenneth Paul Clendenning passed away at Mountain View Care Center in Scranton on May 23

2018 at the age of 76. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Anne Clendenning and his brother Robert. He is survived by his wife Jodi Rinehimer.
Born in Baltimore, MD, he attended Ridley Park High School and West Chester Teacher's College where he majored in math education.
He worked his adult life in insurance sales with the Richard Mulford Insurance Agency, Wells and Rineheimer Insurers and the Kurt Kushner Agency. When he retired he was working for Nationwide Insurance. He loved history, music and crossword puzzles.
Ken was a musician. He played violin, trombone and the French horn. He enjoyed playing violin for many of the churches in the area including weddings and funerals. At Marywood University he played trombone or French horn. He was a violinist in the Northern Tier Symphony Orchestra before Parkinson's Disease took away his physical agility. He also enjoyed singing and sang with many choral ensembles.
He is survived by his children: William (Daryl) Clendenning, Heather Clendenning, and Sharon (John) Bove and step-children Aaron (Heidi) Foley and Christopher (Elsa) Foley. He has 12 grandchildren: Douglas and Cole Clendenning, Gino, Dominica and Franchessa Bianconi, Nico, Roman and Stella Bove, Aiden and Clara Foley, and Miles and Calvin Foley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Care Center for their kindness and compassion during a very difficult time.
