Kelly Marie Ashley of Dalton died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hartford, Conn., daughter of Joan C. Ashley, Dalton, and the late Keith F. Ashley, she had been a resident of the Dalton area for the last 10 years and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother with a wonderful smile and she was the joy of her mother's life.
Also surviving are a son, Keith Ashley, at home; a brother, Evertt Ashley, Laurie City, Mich.; two sisters, Edna Torez, Cambridge Springs; and Darlene Korshane, Holy Oak, Mass.; a grandmother, Martha Jones, Dalton; a niece, Erika Ashley; a nephew, Joshua Ashley; an uncle, George Crocker; an aunt, Mary Webber; and several cousins.
She also was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Crocker, and a brother, Edward Ashley.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Friends may call Tuesday, 4 until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
