Kay Rosencrance

Kay Rosencrance, 62, of Waverly died Sunday evening with her family at her side.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Lois Rosencrance.

She was a 1976 graduate of Abington Heights High School. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and spending time with her family. She had such a big heart and was there for anyone who needed her. Her loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah Rixford and her husband Michael of Taylor; a son, James Smith, and his fiancé Tara of Scranton; grandsons Caleb, Xavier, and Oliver; a sister, Susan Cupinski of Waverly; and niece Danielle of Clarks Summit.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Smith, and a nephew, Jason Cupinski.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
