Kathleen V. Burns, of Dalton, died thursday at Willowbrook Assistant Living Center in S. Abington Twp. She was the widow of the late Harry Burns who died in 1988.
Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late James F. and Mary Carroll McGarity. She was a resident of the Abington area for the past 50 years.She was a member of the waverly womens club and Our Lady of the Snows church.
Surviving is a son Bruce, Clarks Green, a Daughter Janet Deveney, and husband Terry, Dalton, a sister Nancy Hely, Westfield NJ; a sister-in-law Karen Burns, Rocky River, OH; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son David, two sisters Helen Clark and Carroll Hauck, and a brother James McGarity.
A memorial mass will be held at the convience of the family at Our Lady of the Snows Church,325 S. State St. Clarks SUmmit.
Arrangments by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411.
