Katherine M. Troutman, 78, of Clarks Summit, died Sunday afternoon at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. She was the wife of the late Harry Edwin Troutman who died in 1992.
Born in New Bedford Mass, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Zak Johnson. She graduated High School in Massachusetts and was employed as a meat wrapper for Acme and Quinn's Markets. She lived most of her life in Mayfield-Jermyn but spent the last three years in Ransom Twp. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Mayfield.
Katherine enjoyed watching old TV shows and movies. She was also an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox Fan.
Surviving is her daughter and caregiver Cheryl beck and her husband Dale, and also two daughters Diane Gallup and Stephanie Troutman; five sons Harry Troutman Jr. and his wife Doreen; Philip Troutman and his wife Carol; and Stephen, Barry, and Michael Troutman; grandchildren Barbara Phillips, Christina Phillips her husband Dennis McLain; Dana DeLeo and her husband Christopher; Jason Beck and his wife Linda; Katie Troutman, Paul Beaudoin, Amy Troutman, and Justin Troutman; great grandchildren Carrissa Neary, Connor, JJ, and Alex Beck, Christopher, Kathleen, Gracie, Frankie, and Josephine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Abreu and two sons John Henry and George Michael Troutman.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11am at Calvary Cemetery, Plank Rd. Jermyn Pa. 18433.
