Katarzyna Keller

Katarzyna Keller, 38, Newton Twp., passed away Tuesday evening at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after a courageous battle with cancer. Her husband is Raymond Keller.  The couple was married in August of 2013.

Born in Legnica, Poland, she was the daughter of Boguslaw and Alicja Jaskiewicz Kwiatkowski.  She graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School and King's College with a degree in International Business and a minor in Spanish. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was employed at Kemper Insurance as a training supervisor.

Kate was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved gardening, biking and spending time with family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Srilatha Hosur, the staff of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley ICU as well as the staff at the Cancer Center of Geisinger Wyoming Valley.

Also surviving are a brother, Leszek Kwiatkowski and his wife Nicole, TN, niece Evelyn Kwiatkowski, TN; father and mother in law Raymond and Mary Ann Keller, Newton Twp.; sister and brother-in-law Rachael and Robert Bauco, Thornwood, NY; and nephews Christopher and Nicolas Bauco, Thornwood, NY.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 W. Grove St. Clarks Summit, to be celebrated by Rev. George J. Matthews. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.

Friends may visit Friday from 5-8 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit.
