Karen White

Karen White, 74, of Newton Township, PA, passed away July 27 ^th after a serious illness.

Karen was born May 22, 1947 in Scranton, PA to June Hedglin, but was raised in Glenburn by her grandfather, Elmer. Karen was a graduate of Abington Heights and a member of the Community of Christ Church. Karen spent 15 loving years married to her husband Kenneth, running their family farm, and White's Family Market. Karen spent the last 25 years of her life residing with her daughter and spending her free time doting on all of her grandbabies. Karen was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was happiest in life surrounded by her family and more so, her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Lisa Iffert and husband Rick, Newton Township; son Kenny White and wife Mary, Newton Township; grandchildren Jessica, Kristina, Amanda, Jack, Kenny; and seven great grandchildren, her pride and joy.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth White; mother, June Hedglin; and grandfather, Elmer Hedglin.

A viewing and service will be held on Thursday, July 29th at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends may call from 5 to 8pm.
